For our client in the canton of Thurgau, we are seeking a motivated and committed individual to join us as an Electrical Technician / Automation Technician (m/f/d). Job Description

In this vital role, you will be responsible for the electrical maintenance and servicing of our production facilities, encompassing mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics. You will serve as the primary problem solver for any disturbances, analyzing and resolving issues efficiently. Your expertise in PLC programming will be essential to ensure smooth production operations. Additionally, you will manage smaller installation projects in compliance with NIN/NIV guidelines and update electrical schematics to maintain accuracy.

Being on-call is no issue for you as you are ready to step in when necessary. You will also plan and execute retrofits on machines and infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency and system performance. Your technical knowledge and dedication are crucial to the success of our team and the optimization of our production processes.

We Expect

  • You have completed training as an electrician or automation technician in an industrial setting.
  • A NIN/NIV authorization is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • You are familiar with PLC controls (Siemens S5, S7) and possess the required expertise.
  • You enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues and have very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
  • A category B driver's license for on-call duties is required – you are flexible and mobile!
