Position Overview
As an auditor with a focus on the Trade, Industries & Services sector, you will play a pivotal role in conducting integrated audits for companies that prepare financial statements in compliance with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and file with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC). You will also be responsible for statutory audits aligned with Swiss law, as well as audits for private companies adhering to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Additionally, your role will include managing audits of non-financial reports, such as ESG audits, and preparing necessary documentation for Partner review.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct integrated and statutory audits for diverse clients.
- Manage the audit of private companies under IFRS guidelines.
- Oversee non-financial audit reports (e.g., ESG audits).
- Prepare comprehensive audit files for Partner review and assist in presenting findings to management or the Board of Directors.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with clients, providing support in technical accounting matters.
- Drive your own responsibility, flexibility, and professional development.
Your Skill Set
- Over 5 years of demonstrable experience in a similar role at a Big 4 firm.
- Strong technical expertise in US GAAP, US GAAS, IFRS, SOX, and PCAOB standards.
- Completion of the US CPA qualification or an equivalent certification.
- Experience in managing large, multi-location audits with effective day-to-day client and PwC network management.
- A proven track record in establishing and maintaining relationships with senior management across local, regional, and corporate levels.
- A collaborative team player who can effectively report to Partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
