Job Position: Senior/Manager Auditor
We are seeking a talented Senior/Manager Auditor to join our team in Zurich/Basel.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Auditor, you will gain unique insights into the business concepts of diverse financial service providers and cultivate valuable relationships at the highest levels.
- Support the audit of consolidated and annual financial statements for national and international (large) companies and SMEs, with a focus on companies with PCAOB reporting requirements.
- Assess processes and internal controls in key business areas using an integrated audit approach, ensuring a functioning control environment (SOX).
- Collaborate with managers and lead auditors to report audit results to the board of directors and management.
- Serve as a primary contact for clients and continuously enhance client relationships.
- Help manage a multidisciplinary team while providing professional leadership and contributing significantly to the training of your team members through on-the-job coaching.
- Drive the digitalization of on-site auditing at client premises to deliver efficient and value-added audit services.
Skills and Attributes for Success
To excel in this role, you should bring:
- A successful completion of training as a certified public accountant or US CPA.
- Experience in auditing and assessing internal control systems under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX 404).
- Familiarity with PCAOB audits closing with US GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Experience in audits of SEC foreign private issuers.
- Relevant work experience, ideally within a Big 4 firm.
- A foundation built on integrity, respect, and teamwork.
- Energy, enthusiasm, and the courage to lead.
- A talent for numbers and a motivation to enhance your skills in modern data analysis methods.
- A comfort in working with others, whether directly with clients or your future teammates.
- English proficiency in written and spoken communication; knowledge of German is a plus.
