The Opportunity
As a Senior Auditor, you will gain invaluable insights into the business concepts of diverse financial services providers and establish meaningful relationships at the highest levels.
Your Most Important Tasks
Support the audit of consolidated and annual financial statements for national and international (large) companies and SMEs, focusing particularly on companies with PCAOB reporting requirements.
Assess processes and internal controls in key business areas of our clients through an integrated audit approach, confirming the effectiveness of the control environment (SOX).
Work alongside managers and the lead auditor to report audit findings to the board of directors and management.
Act as a key contact for clients and continuously cultivate client relationships.
Help manage a multidisciplinary team and provide professional leadership, contributing to the training and development of your team members through on-the-job coaching.
Collaborate with your team to drive the digitalization of on-site auditing at client premises, ensuring efficient and value-added audit services.
Skills and Attributes for Success
What you bring to the table:
Successful completion of training as a certified public accountant or US CPA is a prerequisite.
Experience in auditing and assessing internal control systems under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX 404).
Experience with audits of PCAOB companies compliant with US GAAP or IFRS standards.
Experience with audits of SEC foreign private issuers.
Relevant work experience, ideally within a Big4 firm.
Integrity, respect, and teamwork as your core values.

A flair for numbers and a desire to expand your experience with modern data analysis methods.
A strong appreciation for interpersonal interactions, whether with customers or future colleagues.
Comfort in an international environment, with proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is a plus.
