The Position

As the Associate Vice President, Commercial Transformation, you will:

  • Lead enterprise-wide transformation through the implementation and evolution of next-generation CMR platforms.
  • Drive innovation in customer engagement solutions, leveraging data, analytics, and digital technologies to enhance impact and efficiency.
  • Develop comprehensive multichannel strategies to transform Marketing, Medical, and Regulatory processes, enhancing customer (HCP) engagement and digital enablement.
  • Set strategic direction and drive transformation initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure commercial execution excellence by building enterprise capabilities that align with the commercial transformation agenda, Equipping affiliates and regional teams with necessary skills, tools, and behaviors.
  • Guide segmentation, channel optimization, and sales force effectiveness through effective sales planning and channel definition.
  • Represent the function in executive forums to influence strategic decisions and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

The position is based in Zürich, Switzerland.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial marketing, business transformation, or related fields.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale commercial strategies and transformation initiatives that drive business growth.
  • Experience in driving digital transformation initiatives, including CRM implementation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Solid expertise in market research, product management, and promotional campaign development.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics, AI tools, and agile methodologies.
  • Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams in a complex stakeholder landscape in the pharmaceutical industry and consumer healthcare.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing external partnerships.
  • A master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

This position is part of the IO-SO Medical, Marketing & Regulatory team, within International Operations. Our department is at the forefront of driving innovation and transformation within the organization. We are a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to enhancing commercial operations and delivering impactful outcomes.
