Our company is seeking a motivated R&D Associate Scientist to become a vital part of our Services Process Development team. Join us in translating R&D innovation into reliable service fulfillment, ensuring our unique technology reaches its full potential.
Your Challenge
- Engage in hands-on development of efficient processes for our cell line engineering workflow, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of cell engineering service experts, biologists, and automation specialists.
- Lead continuous improvements in our workflow by identifying risks, resolving technical issues, and implementing solutions.
- Spearhead the entire lifecycle of cell line engineering SOPs, from creation to maintenance, while driving technical enablement and knowledge transfer.
- Assist our Services Fulfillment team in unblocking customer projects by bridging the gap between R&D innovation and service fulfillment.
- Monitor the performance of laboratory and automation solutions to ensure a seamless process line.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in cell biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, bioengineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of practical experience following your Master’s, with initial industry experience being highly advantageous.
- Strong background in process development within cell line development or related fields.
- Expertise in handling challenging mammalian cell lines (neuronal cells, immune cells, iPSCs, etc.).
- Comfort with wet-lab work, including experimental troubleshooting and managing laboratory equipment (e.g., cell seeder, imager, etc.).
- Experience in designing and optimizing experiments, monitoring performance, and implementing enhancements.
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and foster innovation.
- Problem-solving mindset with the capability to define key questions and set the problem space.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining protocols on an ELN platform is a significant advantage.
- High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
