Join Our Team as an R&D Associate Scientist
Our company is looking for a motivated R&D Associate Scientist to join our Services Process Development team. Join us to translate R&D innovation into reliable service fulfillment, ensuring our unique technology delivers its full potential.
Your Challenge
- Hands-on development of efficient processes for our cell line engineering workflow in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team of cell engineering service experts, biologists, and automation specialists.
- Lead the continuous improvement of our workflow by identifying risks and failures and solving technical issues.
- Spearhead the full lifecycle of cell line engineering SOPs, from creation to maintenance, while driving technical enablement and knowledge transfer.
- Support our Services Fulfillment team by bridging the gap between R&D innovation and service fulfillment to resolve customer project challenges.
- Monitor performance of lab and automation solutions to ensure a functional process line.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in cell biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, bioengineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of practical experience post-Master’s degree, with industry experience being a significant advantage.
- Strong background in process development within cell line development or related fields.
- Solid experience handling complex mammalian cell lines (neuronal cells, immune cells, iPSCs, etc.).
- Proficient in wet-lab work, experimental troubleshooting, and operating lab equipment (e.g., cell seeders, imagers, etc.).
- Experience in designing and optimizing experiments, monitoring performance, and implementing improvements.
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and drive innovation.
- Capable of defining key questions and navigating complex problems with a problem-solving mindset.
- Prior experience with implementing and maintaining protocols on an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) platform is a strong advantage.
- High proficiency in English (written and spoken).
