Join Our Team as an R&D Associate Scientist

Our company is seeking a motivated R&D Associate Scientist to become a key member of our Services Process Development team. Your role will be to translate R&D innovations into reliable service fulfillment, ensuring that our unique technology reaches its full potential.

Your Challenge

  • Engage in hands-on development of efficient processes for our cell line engineering workflow, collaborating with our interdisciplinary team of cell engineering experts, biologists, and automation specialists.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of our workflow by identifying risks and failures while resolving technical issues.
  • Spearhead the entire lifecycle of cell line engineering SOPs, from creation to maintenance, driving technical enablement and knowledge transfer.
  • Support our Services Fulfillment team in overcoming challenges associated with customer projects, serving as a bridge between R&D innovation and service fulfillment.
  • Monitor the performance of lab and automation solutions to ensure a functional process line.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in cell biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, bioengineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of practical experience following your Master’s, with prior industry experience being highly advantageous.
  • Strong background in process development related to cell line development or similar fields.
  • Proficient in handling challenging mammalian cell lines (such as neuronal cells, immune cells, iPSCs, etc.).
  • Comfortable with wet-lab work, experimental troubleshooting, and operation of lab equipment (e.g., cell seeder, imager, etc.).
  • Experience in designing and optimizing experiments, monitoring performance, and implementing improvements.
  • Capable of working autonomously, taking ownership of projects, and driving innovation.
  • Able to define key questions and set the problem space with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Previous experience in implementing and maintaining protocols on an ELN platform is a strong advantage.
  • High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
