Your Responsibilities

The appointee will collaborate closely with group members and contribute to the vibrant intellectual life of our dynamic unit. Ample time will be dedicated to pursuing research for a PhD (Dr. phil), with at least 50% of your working hours reserved for your independent research. Additional responsibilities include:

• Teaching, primarily in medical education.
• Supervising student projects.
• Participating in various activities related to the history of medicine group.

Your Profile

Applicants should possess an MA and demonstrate a strong academic record with a background in the history and/or sociology of health. We particularly encourage applications from women and minority scholars. Proficiency in the German language is essential at the start of the position, even if it is not your primary language. The successful candidate is expected to reside in the area for the duration of the appointment.
