About Our Work
As an Assistant Manager within our expanding business tax team, you will play a crucial role in auditing the tax notes of Financial Statements and delivering international tax advisory and compliance services to our clients. You will engage in global projects and collaborate with your team to provide international organizations with top-tier services on global tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax advisory. This will empower our clients to effectively navigate the evolving Swiss and international tax landscape.
How You Can Make An Impact
- Lead tax accounting teams.
- Conduct tax reviews for current and deferred taxes under IFRS, US-GAAP, Swiss GAAP FER, and Swiss statutory GAAP for both international and national clients.
- Coordinate and supervise international teams on tax audits, taking oversight in group audit primary teams.
- Oversee Swiss input on the Global Tax Accounting Group referred in work for relationship clients.
- Advise clients on enhancing their operating strategy, tax functions, processes, and risk management.
- Collaborate with your team to devise "best practice solutions" and assist clients in developing, analyzing, and implementing processes to meet the challenges posed by BEPS 2.0 / Pillar 2 (“GloBE”).
- Focus on delivering quantitative solutions for clients in light of international tax reform.
- Support clients and our teams in transforming into the digital age, staying abreast of technologies and innovations in tax accounting, and contributing to the development of our practice in tax accounting and multi-country tax provisioning projects.
Our Desired Profile
- You possess or are in the process of acquiring a professional accounting accreditation (CPA).
- You have a strong understanding of IAS 12 and/or ASC740, accompanied by knowledge of international tax reporting and compliance regulations, including quantitative analysis and tax modeling.
- You possess experience as a tax specialist focused on the audit of financial statements.
- You communicate fluently in English and French; knowledge of German is an advantage but not essential.
