Our Audit & Assurance Team specializes in finance transformation projects and delivers internal and external audit engagements. We collaborate across all Service Lines of Deloitte to assist our diverse global clientele in achieving their corporate goals, managing risks, and enhancing business performance.

Your Role

As a key member of our team, you will:

• Advise clients on implementing internal control frameworks, finance transformation, and adhering to new International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS & US GAAP), particularly within the Insurance industry.
• Assist clients in incorporating new regulatory requirements into their daily operations and prepare their systems through rigorous testing.
• Conduct internal audits and FINMA regulatory assignments for Insurance and Reinsurance companies.
• Prepare gap analyses, data analyses, benchmarking reports, proposals, presentations, and publications on relevant industry topics.

Your Qualifications

• You are a qualified candidate or certified auditor (e.g., Swiss CPA or ACCA) with at least 3-5 years of practical experience in IFRS and US GAAP within the financial services sector, particularly concerning insurance contracts and financial instruments.
• You possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in external auditing within the insurance sector, preferably with one of the Big 4 firms.
• You have a strong familiarity with the new IFRS 17 for insurance contracts and IFRS 9 for financial instruments, and you are eager to incorporate these standards into your everyday work.
• You excel in teamwork and can effectively collaborate with individuals from various departments and clients to build robust customer relationships.
• You communicate effectively in both English and German; additional languages are a plus.
