Your Impact
- Take ownership of specific areas and oversee key aspects of financial and regulatory audits for asset managers, management companies, and various funds, including traditional, real estate, and alternative markets.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of audit work while overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of audits in compliance with IFRS and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Lead audit teams with a focus on quality, adherence to auditing standards, and prompt delivery of high-quality audit files for Partner review.
- Serve as the primary liaison among clients, actuaries, and senior management to present audit findings and provide expert advice on technical accounting and regulatory matters.
- Drive the adoption of digital tools for audit enhancement, utilizing applications such as Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
- Stay informed on emerging trends, including ESG reporting and sustainability standards, assisting clients in navigating evolving regulatory requirements.
- Foster a collaborative and mentoring culture by supporting junior team members in their continuous professional development.
- Coordinate international and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless audit delivery across geographical regions.
Your Skill Set
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- 4 to 5 years of auditing experience, particularly in auditing asset owners, life insurance companies, funds, and alternative investment portfolios.
- Strong experience with IFRS audits, with a preference for familiarity with IFRS 4 and IFRS 17 related to insurance auditing.
- Proven skills in audit planning, execution, regulatory compliance, and client relationship management.
- Proficiency in digital audit transformation, with hands-on experience using tools like Aura, Alteryx, and Power BI to enhance analytical reviews.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both French and English, facilitating effective interactions with clients and team members.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable to rapidly changing regulatory and technological environments.
