Our Actuarial team provides a comprehensive range of actuarial support in the areas of life, non-life, and health insurance, as well as reinsurance. We frequently collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance, along with other lines of service, such as Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, or Technology & Transformation, on large-scale finance projects.

In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from day one and will have day-to-day responsibilities to deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Support insurance clients on their finance transformation journey, particularly with IFRS 17/9 implementation and automation of actuarial processes.
  • Advise life, non-life, and health insurance companies on regulatory matters, such as the Swiss Solvency Test or Solvency II.
  • Assist in actuarial audit and review work of (re)insurers concerning local and international accounting standards (IFRS, US-GAAP).
  • Develop actuarial methodology and engage in hands-on actuarial modeling to solve complex challenges within life and non-life insurance.
  • Provide ad-hoc actuarial support for due diligence or M&A project work related to pension and insurance companies.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You possess a University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
  • You are a recent graduate or have up to two years of experience in an actuarial position within the insurance industry or consulting.
  • You are willing to obtain a professional actuarial qualification (e.g., "Actuary SAA").
  • You demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills, a willingness to learn and make a difference, and enjoy working collaboratively with people from various fields.
  • You communicate confidently in both spoken and written German and English.

Join a diverse, multinational, and highly motivated team in our Zurich office. As a new team member, you will be welcomed into a multicultural, team-oriented environment characterized by flat hierarchies. We are committed to your personal and professional growth through training, mentoring programs, and on-the-job learning, as well as connections with colleagues across all business lines.
