Our Actuarial team provides a full range of actuarial support in the areas of life, non-life, and health insurance, as well as reinsurance. We regularly collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance and different lines of services, including Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, on large-scale finance projects.

In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from day one and will have day-to-day responsibilities to deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Support insurance clients on their finance transformation journey, specifically with IFRS 17/9 implementation and the automation of actuarial processes.
  • Advise life, non-life, and health insurance companies on regulatory matters, such as the Swiss Solvency Test and Solvency II.
  • Assist in actuarial audit and review work for (re)insurers, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS, US-GAAP).
  • Develop actuarial methodology and perform hands-on actuarial modeling to address complex challenges in life and non-life insurance.
  • Provide ad-hoc actuarial support for due diligence or M&A project work related to pensions and insurance companies.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You hold a University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
  • You are a recent graduate or have up to two years of experience in an actuarial position, either in the insurance industry or consulting.
  • You are committed to obtaining a professional actuarial qualification (e.g., "Actuary SAA").
  • You possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with a strong willingness to learn and make an impact, enjoying collaboration with diverse teams.
  • You communicate confidently in both spoken and written German and English.
