Help Our Clients Successfully Manage Global Challenges

Our Actuarial team provides a comprehensive range of actuarial support in the areas of life, non-life, and health insurance, as well as reinsurance. We regularly collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance, along with various lines of service such as Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation on large-scale finance projects.

In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from day one, taking on daily responsibilities that contribute to delivering reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Support insurance clients on their finance transformation journey, particularly in the implementation of IFRS 17/9 with actuarial expertise or automation of actuarial processes.
  • Advise life, non-life, and health insurance companies on regulatory matters, such as Swiss Solvency Test or Solvency II.
  • Assist in actuarial audit and review work for (re)insurers regarding local and international accounting standards (IFRS, US-GAAP).
  • Develop actuarial methodologies and hands-on actuarial modeling to address complex challenges within life and non-life insurance.
  • Provide ad-hoc actuarial support for due diligence or M&A project work related to pensions and insurance companies.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You possess a university degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • You are a recent graduate or have up to two years of experience in an actuarial role in the insurance industry or consulting.
  • You are willing to pursue a professional actuarial qualification (for example, "Actuary SAA").
  • You demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills, a strong willingness to learn and contribute, and enjoy collaborating with diverse teams.
  • You confidently communicate in both spoken and written German and English.
