Your Impact

As a leader in the auditing field, you will:

  • Lead audits for asset managers focusing on private markets funds, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS throughout the planning, execution, and completion phases.
  • Advise clients on business opportunities arising from PwC USA's initiatives in asset management, thereby facilitating significant product and investment launches.
  • Coordinate international teams for engagements across the USA, Europe, and other regions, promoting seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Enhance your stakeholder management skills and tackle challenging projects across various sectors, equipping you to navigate complex situations effectively.
  • Drive the audit of valuations for Level 3 investments across all asset classes, including private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real estate.
  • Manage audits of companies preparing financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC filings.
  • Prepare audit files for partner review and assist in presenting audit findings to management or the Board of Directors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, actively supporting them in technical accounting matters.

Your Skill Set

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A university degree in accounting or a related field, along with a US CPA qualification or equivalent, showcasing a strong academic foundation.
  • More than 8 years of proven international experience in a similar role at a Big 4 company, highlighting a solid background in the Private Markets industry.
  • Extensive auditing experience in US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC filings, underscoring your technical expertise.
  • Proficiency in digital audit transformation, SOX, PCAOB standards, and the latest audit technologies, reflecting your adaptability and innovation.
  • A sound understanding of the USA market, coupled with strong analytical and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
