Position Overview

We are in search of a talented Asia Supply Chain and Order Management Specialist to oversee our supplier relationships and order management from Asia. This role requires a professional with an extensive understanding of Asian export markets, aimed at streamlining our supply chain operations, reducing costs, and enhancing service delivery to our Swiss clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize relationships with suppliers in Malaysia, Thailand, and China, ensuring efficient ordering processes and reliable delivery schedules.
• Communicate directly with overseas suppliers, addressing logistical and product-related challenges to maintain seamless import operations.
• Collaborate with our Swiss clients to understand their needs, facilitate order fulfillment, and guarantee high customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the supply chain.
• Act as a cultural and linguistic bridge between our Asian suppliers and Swiss clientele to ensure accurate and efficient communication.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in international trade, specifically managing exports from Asia to Europe or Switzerland.
• Proficiency in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, and French (B2 level or higher), with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A deep understanding of Asian markets, particularly Malaysia, Thailand, and China, complemented by a cultural background that fosters relationship-building with suppliers.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex logistics and multiple supplier relationships effectively.
