Job Opportunity: Art Director

Cultural Care Au Pair is searching for an Art Director to become a pivotal member of our in-house creative team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our brand activities, merging brand strategy, content creation, digital engagement, and creative execution. As a visionary thinker, you will develop innovative visual concepts that not only inspire but also drive growth. This position is located in our Zurich office, emphasizing in-person collaboration with the creative and marketing teams five days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the art direction for all creative projects, ensuring a cohesive, high-quality visual identity across all brand touchpoints.
• Collaborate with the creative team to cultivate engaging ideas and confidently present creative work to stakeholders, including marketing and senior leadership.
• Design and oversee the creation of marketing assets for both digital channels (social media, email, web, paid media) and offline formats, maintaining consistency and quality at scale.
• Provide art direction for video and photography productions, from concept development through to execution, ensuring alignment with brand standards and campaign goals.
• Champion innovative, forward-thinking creative solutions, staying ahead of digital trends and emerging technologies, including AI, to keep Cultural Care's creative output fresh and competitive.
• Work cross-functionally with a global marketing team, managing multiple campaigns and creative workstreams concurrently with exceptional organizational skills.

Your experience spans global brands, along with campaigns and creative initiatives, particularly focusing on the United States, Europe, and Latin America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience within an agency or in-house marketing team.
• A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative work that demonstrates your expertise in visual design.
• A deep understanding of visual design, art direction, interaction design, and the overall creative process.
• Strong proficiency in modern design and production tools such as Figma, with knowledge of current AI tools and workflows.
• Experience with UX/UI design principles and familiarity with front-end development technologies.
• Up-to-date knowledge of emerging communication, media consumption, marketing, and cultural trends.
• Experience with art direction in video/photo productions is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
