Your Mission
The APS & ADC Rated (ATCO) Instructor plays a crucial role in course management, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing training expertise, collaborating with others, and representing our organization in global aviation groups.
Your Tasks
- Oversee course planning, administration, and continuously monitor student performance.
- Ensure all course content adheres to regulatory requirements.
- Create, design, and deliver training material for both classroom and simulation environments.
- Provide support for training development to colleagues and other departments as needed.
- Act as a representative of Skyguide and the Skyguide Academy at international working groups, project groups, and teams; maintain a professional demeanor and appearance in these interactions.
What We Are Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed Air Traffic Controller in Aerodrome (ADC) and Approach Control (APS), with additional validations preferred. Note: While an ATCO license issued in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340 is preferred, appropriate differences training for license conversion will be provided for the right candidate with an ICAO issued ATCO license.
- Must hold an On-the-Job-Training (OJTI) or Simulation Instructor (STDI) license endorsement; Classroom Instructor Certificate and/or Examiner/Assessor's Certificate desired.
- Strong communication skills, adapting your style to the context and stakeholders while actively seeking information through relevant questions and active listening.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members, contributing information, ideas, and insights in meetings and interactions.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 4 or higher.
