Position Details

Location: Wangen b. Dübendorf

Start Date: 01.07.2025 or upon availability

Your Mission

The APS & ADC Rated Instructor will manage courses, ensure regulatory compliance, provide training expertise, and represent our organization on a global scale within aviation groups.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee course planning, administration, and continually monitor student performance.
  • Ensure that all course content meets regulatory standards.
  • Create, design, and deliver training material for classroom and simulation environments.
  • Offer support for training development, colleagues, and other departments as necessary.
  • Represent Skyguide and the Skyguide Academy in international working groups and project teams, maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a licensed Air Traffic Controller in Aerodrome (ADC) and Approach Control (APS), with additional validations preferred. Note: While a license issued per Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340 is preferred, we provide appropriate training for license conversion for qualified candidates with an ICAO-issued ATCO license.
  • Must possess an On-the-Job-Training (OJTI) or Simulation Instructor (STDI) license endorsement; a Classroom Instructor Certificate and/or Examiner/Assessor Certificate is desired.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to various contexts and actively engage with stakeholders.
  • Strong teamwork abilities, contributing insights and ideas during meetings and discussions with diverse team members.
  • English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 4 or higher.
