Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced L2 Application Support Analyst to represent our client in the finance and banking sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and deconstruct complex issues to develop optimal solutions, considering multiple stakeholder impacts.
- Establish cause-effect linkages and validate hypotheses to address long-term technical and business challenges.
- Understand client requirements, integrate feedback, and ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Anticipate challenges, proactively resolve critical issues, and build trust with key stakeholders.
- Effectively prioritize tasks, plan using historical trends, and manage risks through contingency planning.
- Coordinate execution across projects and processes, identifying key drivers and constraints.
- Utilize ServiceNow for incident tracking, problem management, and change requests in compliance with ITIL standards.
- Employ knowledge management, release planning, and issue resolution tools to maintain system stability.
- Conduct in-depth impact analysis and process mapping to identify opportunities for system or service improvements.
- Communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, adapting messaging as appropriate for different audiences.

- Operating Systems: Unix/Linux
- Database: Oracle PL/SQL
- Scripting: Shell Scripting
- Job Scheduling: Autosys
- Monitoring & Automation: Batch Monitoring Tools, Automation Tools
- Ticketing Tool: ServiceNow
- ITIL Framework: Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in L2 Application Support
- Strong technical proficiency in Unix, Oracle PL/SQL, and Shell Scripting
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Certification preferred)
Preferred / Good to Have:
- Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
- Experience with Splunk, AppDynamics, or other monitoring tools
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
- Basic knowledge of Java, Informatica, and other enterprise tools
