Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced L2 Application Support Analyst to join our team on behalf of our client in the Finance/Banking sector. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient, analytically sharp, and an outstanding communicator. You will be responsible for application support, incident/problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and resolve complex issues; develop optimal solutions that consider multiple stakeholder impacts.
- Build cause-effect linkages and validate hypotheses to tackle long-term technical and business challenges.
- Understand client needs, incorporate feedback, and ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Anticipate potential challenges, resolve critical issues proactively, and establish trust with key stakeholders.
- Effectively prioritize tasks, plan using historical trends, and manage risks through contingency planning.
- Coordinate project and process execution; identify key drivers and constraints.
- Utilize ServiceNow for incident tracking, problem management, and change requests in line with ITIL standards.
- Employ knowledge management, release planning, and issue resolution tools to ensure system stability.
- Conduct thorough impact analysis and process mapping to identify system or service improvements.
- Communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, while adjusting messages according to the audience.

- Operating Systems: Unix/Linux
- Database: Oracle PL/SQL
- Scripting: Shell Scripting
- Job Scheduling: Autosys
- Monitoring & Automation: Batch Monitoring Tools, Automation Tools
- Ticketing Tool: ServiceNow
- ITIL Framework: Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in L2 Application Support
- Strong technical proficiency in Unix, Oracle PL/SQL, and Shell Scripting
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Certification preferred)
Preferred / Good to Have:
- Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
- Experience with Splunk, AppDynamics, or other monitoring tools
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
- Basic knowledge of Java, Informatica, and other enterprise tools
