Your Role

As a member of our skilled IT team, you will play a vital role in defining, governing, and continuously improving test management practices for Program Phoenix, Accelleron’s SAP S/4HANA transformation program, as well as other key IT projects across the organization. This position operates globally, reporting to the Head of IS Production & Value Chain in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  • Define, maintain, and govern the overall test strategy for Program Phoenix and other IT projects, covering all relevant test phases and test types.
  • Lead end-to-end planning, coordination, and oversight of testing activities including system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression, integration, security, and non-functional testing.
  • Oversee SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, Cutover Testing, and Post-Go-Live Validation.
  • Establish and continuously improve test governance, templates, processes, reporting structures, quality gates, and entry and exit criteria.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, implementation partners, and third-party vendors to ensure test preparation, execution, and issue resolution align with project milestones.
  • Build and maintain reusable automated test assets and regression suites.
  • Ensure effective management of test tools, test cases, defect handling, dashboards, and status reporting.
  • Drive test data, test environment, and resource readiness in close collaboration with project teams and business representatives.
  • Monitor testing progress, risks, dependencies, and quality issues, proactively escalating and resolving issues as needed.
  • Support the development of Accelleron’s long-term testing capabilities, including harmonized methods, reuse of assets, and increased adoption of test automation where beneficial.

Your Background & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in test management or QA leadership in complex IT programs, ideally including SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
  • Strong experience in defining and executing test strategies, test plans, governance models, and status reporting across multiple test phases.
  • Proven track record in managing system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect management, test environments, test data, and stakeholder alignment in cross-functional project setups.
  • Good understanding of enterprise application landscapes and integration scenarios, ideally in SAP-centric environments.
  • Experience working with test management and defect management tools.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca or comparable solutions is preferred and considered a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with regression testing, automation approaches, and opportunities to improve testing efficiency through reusable assets and automation.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and IT teams.
  • Strong understanding of SAP business processes, integrations, and test automation best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and German, both verbal and written.
