About the Role
This position offers a global scope with production sites in Switzerland and China. You will report to the Team Lead ERP & Value Chain in Switzerland, becoming a vital part of our skilled IT team dedicated to planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving IT processes for material management and logistics.
The role encompasses consulting, planning, and executing the transition from our current application landscape to a future system landscape, in alignment with transformation projects. Strong communication skills are essential to understand the requirements of internal customers within the Production, Supply Chain, and Logistics organizations, ensuring that their needs are effectively addressed within our material management and logistics processes.

Your Responsibilities
Application Owner (AO)
- Act as the primary IT contact for Accelleron Power Users and Business Process Owners regarding Sourcing & Procurement, Supplier Management, Inbound Logistics, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, and Tracking & Tracing processes.
- Coordinate and implement the application strategy for SAP MM processes in collaboration with the business and Group IS Delivery functions, ensuring alignment with the IS strategy.
- Build deep knowledge of Accelleron processes and application landscape.
- Perform SAP customization and provide specifications for SAP developments.
- Manage IT Service Providers.
- Support Power Users in maintaining necessary training and knowledge for efficient SAP MM application use, providing direct End User training as needed.
- Drive and maintain high data quality in collaboration with Power Users and End Users.
- Lead temporary working groups and projects, monitor progress, share expertise, and provide advisory support.
- Keep solution documentation current.
- Ensure fulfillment of defined business SLAs and adherence to the planned budget.
Process Engineering (PE)
- Identify, propose, consult, and support business process improvement initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate opportunities for automation and optimization with Business stakeholders.
- Engage with the Business to identify potentials enabled by new technologies and applications.
- Advise on SAP process improvements before and during implementation.
- Represent Accelleron’s interests in IS projects as both Application Owner and Process Engineer.
- Identify trends and digital technologies that enhance process efficiency or create new business value.
- Ensure proper implementation of Quality and IT standards throughout process improvement initiatives and adherence to project governance rules.
Your Background
- Strong understanding of Sourcing & Procurement, Supplier Management, Inbound Logistics, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, and Tracking & Tracing processes.
- Hands-on experience in logistics execution within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to consult, design, and improve business processes in a structured and value-driven manner.
- Consulting and configuration skills in SAP MM, Master Data, and Business Partner Management.
- Knowledge of SAP PP, QM, Ariba, and SAP FIORI.
- Experience in cross-functional teams within an international context.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying improvement potential and evaluating new technologies.
- Experience in application ownership or process engineering roles in SAP environments.
- Ability to work independently, lead task forces, and coordinate diverse stakeholder groups without formal authority.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written), with solid German language skills.
