Global Scope and Responsibilities
With production sites in Switzerland and China, this position encompasses a global scope. Reporting to the team lead ERP & Value Chain in Switzerland, you will join a skilled IT team to plan, design, implement, maintain, and enhance IT processes for warehouse management and logistics.
Your Responsibilities
Application Owner (AO)
- Serve as the primary contact for Accelleron Power Users and Business Process Owners regarding SAP EWM and warehouse management applications.
- Coordinate and implement the application strategy for SAP EWM, ensuring alignment with business and Group IS Delivery functions.
- Manage service providers and support implementation activities from a business perspective.
- Build deep application-specific knowledge of Accelleron processes and the application landscape.
- Support Power Users in maintaining training and knowledge levels for efficient use of warehousing applications, providing direct end-user training when required.
- Drive and ensure high data quality in collaboration with Power Users and End Users to optimize business processes.
- Lead temporary working groups, monitor project progress, share expertise, and offer advisory support without direct line management responsibility.
- Keep solution documentation updated and ensure fulfillment of defined business SLAs.
- Manage application portfolio budget, including regular forecasting.
Process Engineering (PE)
- Ensure seamless integration between decentralized SAP EWM and central SAP ECC and SAP S/4 systems.
- Identify, propose, consult, and support business process improvement initiatives within Warehousing and Logistics.
- Engage with the Business to continuously identify opportunities for automation and optimization of processes.
- Work closely with Business stakeholders to explore potentials enabled by new technologies and applications.
- Advise the Business before and during the implementation of process improvements in SAP EWM and related applications.
- Represent Accelleron's interests in IS projects as both Application Owner and Process Engineer.
- Identify trends and digital technologies that enhance process efficiency or enable new business value, supporting related improvement projects.
- Ensure correct implementation of Quality and IT standards throughout process improvement initiatives while adhering to governance rules.
Your Background
- Strong understanding of Logistics Execution and warehousing processes, with hands-on experience in SAP EWM, SAP ECC, SAP S/4, and basic knowledge of SAP FIORI.
- Proven ability to consult, design, and enhance business processes in a structured and value-driven manner.
- Experience interacting with cross-functional teams in an international setting.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills, capable of translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying improvement potentials and evaluating new technologies.
- Experience in application ownership or process engineering within SAP environments.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate diverse stakeholder groups without formal authority.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) with solid German language skills.
