About the Position
With production sites in Switzerland and China, this position has a global scope. Reporting to the Team Lead ERP & Value Chain in Switzerland, you will join a skilled IT team focused on planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving IT processes for warehouse management and logistics.
The role involves consulting, planning, and executing the transition from the current application landscape to the future system landscape in alignment with transformation projects. Effective communication skills are essential to understand the requirements of internal customers, particularly within the Production, Supply Chain, and Logistics organization, and to translate these needs into our warehouse management and logistics processes.

Your Responsibilities
Application Owner (AO)
- Act as the primary point of contact for the internal Accelleron Power Users and Business Process Owners regarding SAP EWM and warehouse management applications.
- Coordinate and implement the application strategy for SAP EWM in close collaboration with the business and Group IS Delivery functions, ensuring alignment with the IS strategy.
- Manage service provider relationships.
- Support implementation activities and application changes from the business perspective, building deep application-specific knowledge of Accelleron processes and the application landscape.
- Support Power Users in maintaining the required training and knowledge levels for efficient use of warehousing applications, providing direct End User training when necessary.
- Drive and support high data quality in collaboration with Power Users and End Users to optimize business processes.
- Lead temporary working groups, monitor progress, share expert knowledge, and provide advisory support, without having direct line management responsibility.
- Keep the solution documentation updated.
- Ensure the fulfillment of defined business SLAs.
- Manage your application portfolio to meet the planned budget, including regular forecasting.
Process Engineering (PE)
- Ensure seamless integration between decentralized SAP EWM and central SAP ECC and SAP S/4 systems.
- Identify, propose, consult, and support business process improvement initiatives within Warehousing and Logistics.
- Continuously engage with the Business to explore opportunities for further automation and optimization of warehousing and logistics processes.
- Work closely with Business stakeholders to identify potential improvements enabled by new technologies and applications.
- Advise the Business before and during the implementation of process improvements in SAP EWM and adjacent applications.
- Represent Accelleron’s interests in IS projects in the dual role of Application Owner and Process Engineer for assigned applications and processes.
- Identify trends and key digital technologies that enhance process efficiency or create new business value, supporting related improvement projects.
- Ensure the correct implementation of Quality and IT standards throughout process improvement initiatives, adhering to application and infrastructure service strategies and project governance rules.
Your Background
- Strong understanding of Logistics Execution and warehousing processes with hands-on experience in SAP EWM, SAP ECC, SAP S/4, and basic knowledge of SAP FIORI, particularly in EWM, WM, MM, QM, PP, and related applications.
- Proven ability to consult, design, and improve business processes in a structured and value-driven manner.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international environment.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying improvement potentials and evaluating new technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in application ownership or process engineering roles within SAP environments.
- Ability to work independently, lead task forces, and coordinate diverse stakeholder groups without formal authority.
- Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written) and solid German language skills.
