Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Application Owner – Finance Applications to strengthen our IT capabilities within our department. This full-time position is based in Baden, Switzerland, and offers an unlimited contract alongside a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Ownership for Non-ERP Tools: Oversee the end-to-end management of finance applications, particularly focusing on APOC (Accounts Payables on Cloud) and other accounting-related applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance finance applications to meet business needs.
  • User Support & Issue Resolution: Provide ongoing support to end-users, ensuring a positive experience while addressing issues. Troubleshoot interface challenges with SAP ERP and liaise with SAP CPI and SAP FI-CO technical teams for effective issue resolution.
  • IS Project Management for Finance Applications: Lead comprehensive project management for finance-related IS initiatives, including SAP ERP and non-SAP applications. Oversee the implementation of new solutions and ensure seamless functionality while coordinating the work of technical teams.
  • Automation and AI Leadership: Spearhead projects that leverage automation and AI to optimize finance processes while collaborating with finance partners to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage third-party vendor relationships to ensure contract compliance, acting as a liaison between finance stakeholders and IT to align application capabilities with business needs.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years focused on project management and application ownership for finance applications.
  • Proven expertise in leading IS projects involving SAP ERP and other integrated non-ERP finance applications.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R).
  • Experience with implementing and managing Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions, integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience in automation and AI-driven projects aimed at enhancing finance process efficiency.
  • Strong technical proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and hands-on troubleshooting experience.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, managing multiple priorities and complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Deep understanding of finance-related software and cloud-based IT infrastructure.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for intricate technical and operational challenges.
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and risk management related to finance applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across diverse, cross-functional, and international teams.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented with a customer-centric approach.
