ZMT Zurich MedTech AG (ZMT) is the leading developer and provider of cutting-edge tools and innovative in silico solutions for targeted life sciences applications. We are currently seeking a talented individual for the position of Application Engineer for Computational Electromagnetics (CEM).
In collaboration with our esteemed partner organizations—Foundation for Research on Information Technologies in Society (IT'IS), Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG), and TI Solutions AG—we form the Zurich43 alliance. Our dedicated mission is to enhance knowledge and technology in:
Characterization, optimization, and application of electromagnetic (EM) near-fields
Predictive modeling of interactions between physical agents and complex anatomical physiology
Medical applications
Your Responsibilities
Develop showcases for various applications to highlight the features and capabilities of our simulation platform (both web and desktop versions)
Provide technical support for our global user base
Deliver technical presentations at seminars and workshops
Participate in scientific conferences and exhibitions
Research and monitor market trends and competitor products
Gather feedback from users and partners, collaborating with R&D teams to enhance our simulation platform
Assist the development team during all software release activities, including software testing, writing application notes and manuals, and conducting training sessions
Your Profile
University degree in electrical engineering or physics
Solid foundation in electromagnetic theory
Practical experience in at least one of the following areas: computational modeling and simulation, antenna design, medical device engineering, software development, scripting, web applications, electromagnetic field theory
Good comprehension of software development processes
Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
Self-motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, a friendly demeanor, and a collaborative spirit
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
Commitment to effectively addressing the needs of partners and customers
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of German is a plus
