ZMT Zurich MedTech AG (ZMT) is a leading developer and provider of innovative in silico solutions and tools for targeted life sciences applications. We are currently seeking a dedicated Application Engineer for Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) to join our team.
As part of an alliance with esteemed partners, including the Foundation for Research on Information Technologies in Society (IT’IS), Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG), and TI Solutions AG (TI Solutions), ZMT contributes to the Zurich43 alliance. Our mission is to advance knowledge and technology in:
Characterization, optimization, and application of electromagnetic (EM) near-fields
Predictive modeling of interactions between physical agents and complex anatomy
Innovative medical applications
Your Responsibilities
Develop showcases for various applications to demonstrate the features and capabilities of our simulation platform (both web and desktop versions)
Provide technical support for our global user base
Deliver technical presentations at seminars and workshops
Participate in scientific conferences and exhibitions
Research market trends and competitor products
Gather feedback from users and partners, collaborating with our R&D teams to enhance the simulation platform
Support the development team during software release activities, including testing and writing application notes and manuals
Who You Are
University degree in electrical engineering or physics
Strong background in electromagnetic (EM) theory
Practical experience in at least one of the following areas: computational modeling and simulation, antenna design, medical device engineering, software development, scripting, web applications, or electromagnetic field theory
Good understanding of software development processes
Commitment to the highest quality standards in work output
Self-motivated with strong organizational and communication skills, as well as an excellent attention to detail and a friendly, team-oriented demeanor
Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of German is a plus
