Your Responsibilities
From Customer Needs to Co-Engineered Solutions
- Collaborate with customers in early-stage co-engineering of sealing solutions, transforming functional requirements into viable, manufacturable, and cost-effective product designs.
- Develop and maintain robust technical relationships with customers, ensuring early project involvement and seamless integration of feedback throughout development.
From Concept to Optimized Product Design
- Lead the design and 3D modeling of components and assemblies, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, sustainability, and compliance with requirements.
- Initiate and interpret simulations (e.g., FEA, mold flow) in collaboration with internal experts to validate and optimize product performance.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including drawings with GD&T, specifications, and reports to ensure clarity with stakeholders.
From Optimization to Innovation
- Drive continuous improvement by integrating feedback from prototyping, testing, and production, utilizing new materials and technologies to enhance performance.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging materials, and advanced manufacturing technologies to deliver innovative solutions and secure intellectual property through patent filings.
Our Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing, or Polymer Engineering, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in product development.
- Proven ability to build strong technical customer relationships and engage in co-development of optimized solutions.
- Expertise across the full product development cycle, including CAD modeling, FEA, and prototyping, with advanced skills in 3D modeling and design optimization.
- Strong analytical skills and experience addressing complex product development challenges, complemented by clear technical documentation.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as the primary technical interface to the customer, with excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English (C1) is required; proficiency in German (B2) is a plus.
