Your Responsibilities
- Conducting anesthesias in intensive and emergency medicine, including preoperative and postoperative care for patients.
- Monitoring and managing patients' vital parameters during surgical procedures to ensure safety and stability.
- Preparing anesthesia, including the selection and dosing of anesthetics and other medications in close consultation with the surgical team.
- Ensuring effective airway management and ventilation during anesthesia.
- Performing regional anesthetics and managing pain for optimal patient care.
- Providing postoperative care in the recovery room and relaying pertinent information to nursing staff.
- Participating in emergency interventions to deliver prompt and effective anesthesiological care during acute emergencies.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, including surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals, to ensure the best possible patient care.
- Conducting regular safety checks and adhering to all relevant hygiene and safety standards.
- Documenting anesthetic courses, including administered medications and patients' reactions, to maintain complete and accurate patient records.
Your Profile
- Completed training as an anesthetist (80-100%) or an equivalently recognized qualification.
- Experience in intensive and emergency medicine is an advantage, particularly in performing anesthesias in acute care.
- Strong social competence, empathy, and sense of responsibility.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations and make quick decisions.
- Flexibility, resilience, and a passion for teamwork.
- Proficient in German, both spoken and written.
