Position: Aircraft Technician

As an Aircraft Technician at ANAVIA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely execution of assembly, maintenance, and repair tasks in accordance with established work instructions and quality processes. Your responsibilities will include documenting all sub-assembly, final assembly, and maintenance tasks on aircraft, payloads, and other products, as well as proposing root cause and corrective actions for products and systems.

Your Main Tasks

  • Conduct incoming goods inspection and testing, as well as sub-assembly and final assembly of aircraft, accessories, and payloads.
  • Perform scheduled and non-scheduled aircraft maintenance work at our Swiss headquarters and globally.
  • Handle non-scheduled aircraft repair tasks, including sub-systems removal, installation, replacements, and subsequent testing both locally and internationally.
  • Ensure all pre- and post-flight maintenance is completed, recorded, and signed.
  • Maintain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in serviceable condition to support daily flight operations.
  • Prepare for the transportation of aircraft, payloads, and other equipment, ensuring compliance with Dangerous Goods requirements.
  • Prepare aircraft, Ground Control Stations (GCS), and data transmission systems, assist in flight preparation, support external pilots as needed, and manage ground movements for flight missions.
  • Serve as a Technician instructor for both internal and external training sessions.
  • Assist in performing root cause analysis and fault diagnosis using test equipment, and implement approved corrective actions to resolve issues effectively.
  • Report on executed tasks as required by HR, Finance, or Quality departments.

Qualifications

To join our team, you should possess:

  • A completed technical education.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician for manned and/or unmanned aircraft, with thorough knowledge of aircraft assembly and maintenance work requirements.
  • Solid technical and practical understanding of complex mechanical, mechatronic, and electrical systems.
  • A process-oriented and structured approach to work.
  • A sense of responsibility and good technical comprehension.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient language skills in English (both oral and written); knowledge of German is desirable.
