The Check Maintenance team, comprised of highly qualified and motivated aircraft engineers, is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the entire SWISS and Edelweiss fleet. We prioritize cost-effective fleet maintenance while adhering to high quality and safety standards.

Tasks

  • Perform maintenance on SWISS, Edelweiss, and customer aircraft, including A-Checks, major modifications, damage assessments, repairs, and troubleshooting according to the privileges stated in the personal company authorization, and release to service.
  • Evaluate repairs and work orders based on required man hours, materials, and skills.
  • Update work orders and coordinate tasks closely with your superior.
  • Issue a statement of work for the tasks performed, ensuring all work and paperwork meet high quality standards and comply with regulations.
  • Participate in shift work operating on a 5/2 basis from Monday to Friday.
  • Handle AOG assignments at home base and abroad for SWISS and Edelweiss aircraft.

Requirements

  • Experience in aircraft maintenance as a B1 and/or B2 engineer, preferably on aircraft types A220, A320, A330, A340, A350, and B777.
  • Fluent language skills in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
  • Able to work a two-shift system with early and late shifts.
  • Team player with attention to detail, enjoying a multinational working environment.
  • A high level of commitment and loyalty toward SWISS.
