Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Aircraft Engine Technician in Quick Turn Services, you will:
- Disassemble and assemble Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56-5/7B series engines in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
- Perform replacement, repair, and inspections on aircraft engines and modules.
- Conduct measurement control of the assemblies in mounted condition.
- Ensure timely execution and independent self-control of performed orders.
- Prepare and perform Field Assistance Support at any location in the world.
- Document activities assigned in accordance with regulations.
- Carry out general routine activities for tooling, equipment, and maintaining tidiness within the QTS organization.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Completed vocational training as a polymechanic, plant/machine mechanic, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience within the aviation MRO industry.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice to provide Field Assistance Support at any location.
- Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA Part 145/ Part 66.
- Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely, and responsibly.
- An open-minded and dedicated team player.
- High safety, quality, and cost awareness.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- English language skills at a minimum level of B2; German language skills are advantageous.
