Aeronautical Engineer (M/W/D) ⚙️
Join our Techfirm Industrial Services team and embark on an exciting journey in Switzerland. We are seeking an innovative Aeronautical Engineer ready to tackle new challenges alongside us!
WHAT WILL BE YOUR TASKS?
- Design mechanical principles and system architecture during the preliminary project phases as an Avionics or Electrical Engineer.
- Define mechanical interfaces with suppliers, ensuring proper support and follow-up.
- Distribute and prioritize tasks and sub-projects among project personnel, aligning with manpower capacity, staff skills, and task constraints.
- Create engineering 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical parts, ensuring compliance with engineering design rules and processes.
- Adhere to CPR instructions, BIGs, project milestones, and quality requirements.
- Motivate and guide assigned staff to achieve schedule, quality, and cost objectives.
- Implement design-to-weight and design-to-cost approaches in line with project requirements.
- Quickly address risk items, identify project roadblocks, and fill gaps between activities performed and the scope sold to the customer.
- Conduct rework (revisions, concessions) on 3D parts, assembly drawings, and installation drawings.
- Prepare, check, and release compliance documentation and certification. Participate and/or witness tests and prepare corresponding reports as needed.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU ⛳️
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field from an accredited university.
- Several years of experience in the engineering domains of mechanical, electrical, or avionics.
- Proficiency with CAE & CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Catia V5, Siemens NX, TeamCenter) and familiarity with aviation standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team spirit.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Fluency in English (both oral and written); proficiency in French and/or German is a plus.
