What Will Be Your Tasks?

  • Design mechanical principles and system architecture during the project upfront phase.
  • Properly define mechanical interfaces with suppliers, ensuring adequate support and follow-up.
  • Distribute and prioritize tasks and sub-projects among project staff considering available manpower capacity, staff skills, and task constraints.
  • Create engineering 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical parts, assemblies, and installation drawings based on engineering mechanical design rules and processes.
  • Address various project requirements, including CPR instructions, BIGs, project milestones, and quality standards.
  • Motivate and guide assigned staff to achieve goals related to schedule, quality, and cost.
  • Employ design-for-weight and design-for-cost approaches in line with project requirements.
  • Identify and address project risks to minimize roadblocks and gaps between the performed activities and the scope sold to the customer.
  • Manage reworks (Revision, DS, Concession) on 3D parts, assembly drawings, and installation drawings.
  • Prepare, check, and release certification and compliance documentation.
  • Participate in and/or witness tests and prepare the corresponding reports as required.

What You Should Bring With You ⛳️

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
  • Several years of experience in engineering mechanical domains and management.
  • Proficiency in CAE & CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Catia V5, Siemens NX, TeamCenter, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive team spirit.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written); knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
