Aeronautical Engineer (M/W/D) ⚙️

What Will Be Your Tasks?

  • Design mechanical principles and system architecture during the initial project phase.
  • Define and manage the mechanical interfaces with suppliers, ensuring adequate support and follow-up.
  • Distribute and prioritize tasks and sub-projects among assigned staff based on available manpower, skill sets, and task constraints.
  • Create engineering 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical parts, assemblies, and installation, adhering to:
    • Engineering mechanical design rules and processes (material and process guidelines, sheet metal rules, machining standards and fastener selection, bonding and grounding),
    • CPR instructions, BIGs, project milestones, and quality requirements.
  • Motivate and guide assigned staff to achieve project goals in terms of schedule, quality, and cost.
  • Implement a design-to-weight and design-to-cost approach in line with project requirements.
  • Proactively address risk items, identify and resolve project roadblocks, and identify gaps between performed activities and the scope agreed upon with the customer.
  • Conduct rework (revisions, DS, concessions) on 3D parts, assembly drawings, and installation drawings.
  • Prepare, check, and release certification and compliance documentation.
  • Participate in and/or witness tests and prepare the corresponding reports as required.

What You Should Bring With You ⛳️

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
  • Several years of experience in mechanical engineering and management.
  • Proficiency in CAE & CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Catia V5, Siemens NX, TeamCenter) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written); proficiency in French and/or German is a plus.
