Job Description

As a member of our Solution Consulting team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our future success. You will support one of our most strategic customers in the Life Sciences sector, collaborating closely with the Client Director. Your primary responsibility will be to position and sell the ServiceNow platform to this customer, while engaging with existing stakeholders and uncovering new opportunities to integrate ServiceNow into their business operations. We are also seeking a thought leader in AI who can elevate the customer’s business to new heights, ensuring they are future-ready in the age of Agentic AI.

Key Responsibilities

The Solution Consultant serves as a technical consultant with the advanced ability to develop, position, and deliver product-specific solutions throughout the sales cycle, aiming to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals for their assigned territory.

  • Support product sales as a technical and domain expert within a client-facing sales team.
  • Lead discovery workshops to identify customer challenges and provide product demonstrations that align our solutions with their needs.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to C-level executives and enterprise architects, aligning ServiceNow's capabilities with essential business outcomes and long-term strategic objectives.
  • Design and deliver compelling, outcome-focused demonstrations that effectively communicate business value, beyond mere technical features.
  • Master the art of business storytelling, crafting narratives that connect the customer's specific challenges to the solution architecture and quantifiable results.
  • Address product feature and technical inquiries from customers, channel partners, and ServiceNow colleagues.
  • Provide feedback to product management concerning enhancements that can better address customer needs and add value.
  • Share and learn best practices and reusable assets with fellow Solution Consultants to enhance team performance and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
  • Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience leveraging or thoughtfully considering how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or assessing AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • Over 7 years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise in cloud software solutions.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.
  • Territory management skills, including pipeline building and collaborating with Sales counterparts to ensure execution excellence.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Knowledge of the Life Sciences industry is a plus.
