Job Description
As a vital member of our Solution Consulting team, you will play a significant role in shaping our future success by supporting one of our most strategic customers in the Life Sciences sector, alongside the partnership of the Client Director. Your primary responsibility will be to position and promote the ServiceNow platform at this customer site, while also cultivating relationships with existing stakeholders and identifying new opportunities for integration into their business. We are also seeking a thought leader in AI who can elevate the customer's business to the next level, preparing them for success in the Agentic AI era.
What You Will Do in This Role
The Solution Consultant serves as a technical consultant with advanced capabilities to develop, position, and deliver product-specific solutions during sales cycles, ultimately achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for the designated territory.
- Support product sales as a technical and domain expert within a client-facing sales team.
- Lead discovery workshops to identify customers' challenges and provide product demonstrations that align our solutions with their needs.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to C-level executives and enterprise architects, aligning ServiceNow's capabilities with critical business outcomes and long-term strategic goals.
- Design and deliver compelling, outcome-focused demonstrations that articulate business value beyond technical features.
- Master the art of business storytelling, crafting narratives that connect specific customer challenges directly to the solution architecture and measurable results.
- Address product feature and technical inquiries from customers, channel partners, and ServiceNow colleagues.
- Provide feedback to product management regarding enhancements that can address customer needs and add value.
- Share best practices and reusable assets with other Solution Consultants to improve team quality and efficiency.
- Stay updated on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
- Support marketing events, including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Experience in leveraging or critically evaluating methods to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may involve using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or assessing AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
- 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience.
- Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise in cloud software solutions.
- Experience collaborating with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.
- Strong territory management skills, including pipeline development and effective collaboration with sales counterparts to ensure execution excellence.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Knowledge of the Life Sciences industry is a plus.
