Job Description

As a valued member of our Solution Consulting team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our future success by supporting one of our most strategic customers in the Life Science sector. Collaborating closely with the Client Director, you will be responsible for positioning and selling the ServiceNow platform to this client, while also fostering relationships with existing stakeholders and identifying new opportunities for ServiceNow integration within their business operations. We seek a thought leader in AI who can elevate our customer's business, ensuring they are prepared to excel in the Agentic AI era.

Responsibilities

The Solution Consultant serves as a technical consultant, possessing the advanced skills needed to develop, position, and deliver product-specific solutions throughout the sales cycle, while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.

  • Support product sales as a technical and domain expert within a client-facing sales team.
  • Lead discovery workshops to identify customers' challenges and provide tailored product demonstrations that align with their specific needs.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to C-level executives and enterprise architects, correlating ServiceNow's capabilities with critical business outcomes and long-term strategic objectives.
  • Design and deliver engaging, outcome-focused demonstrations that emphasize business value over mere technical features.
  • Master the art of business storytelling by crafting compelling narratives that link the customer’s challenges directly to the solution architecture and measurable results.
  • Respond to product feature and technical inquiries from customers, channel partners, and ServiceNow colleagues.
  • Provide constructive feedback to product management regarding enhancements that can better address customer needs and deliver additional value.
  • Share and acquire best practices and reusable assets with fellow Solution Consultants to elevate the quality and efficiency of the team.
  • Stay informed on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
  • Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may involve using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise in cloud software solutions.
  • Experience in collaborative environments with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.
  • Strong territory management skills, including pipeline building and coordinating with Sales counterparts for optimal execution.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Knowledge of the Life Science industry is a plus.
