Job Overview
WBCSD is seeking a permanent, part-time China Adviser to support the Executive Vice President of Imperatives in developing a robust strategy for the organization in China.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the WBCSD EVP responsible for the China Regional Program, leveraging strong networks and extensive experience.
- Provide strategic advice on potential member engagement within the China program.
- Facilitate regular planning discussions and coordination meetings among WBCSD staff focused on China, on behalf of the EVP.
- Engage primarily in virtual collaborations and team discussions.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Strong knowledge of the Chinese business environment, including State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and Private-Owned Enterprises (POEs).
- Proven experience in international business and sustainability, with a solid understanding of WBCSD and its objectives.
- Deep comprehension of China’s sustainability and policy agenda, along with its implications for both Chinese and international businesses operating in China.
- Fluency in both Chinese and English.
Position Details
This part-time, permanent position is based in Geneva, with minimal travel required to China.
