The Swiss federal government has approved six new National Centres of Competence in Research (NCCRs) to strengthen key strategic research areas in Switzerland. Among these, ETH Zurich leads three NCCRs, including the NCCR “Genesis.” This initiative represents a significant opportunity for education, premier research, and the transfer of knowledge to industry and society.
The "Genesis" project explores the origin of life as a gradual transition from inanimate matter to living organisms. Managed in close collaboration with the University of Lausanne (UNIL), this center unites over 100 scientists from across Switzerland, fostering connections among the fields of biology, chemistry, astrophysics, and Earth and planetary sciences.
To bolster our project team and support the NCCR Director, we are excited to announce the new role of Administration & Logistics Assistant. This position reports to the NCCR Finance & Administration Manager and plays a crucial part in the operational success of the NCCR.
As part of ETH Zurich, you will not only enhance your professional development but also contribute to positive changes in society. Enjoy numerous benefits including public transport season tickets, car sharing options, a wide range of sports offered by the ASVZ, childcare services, and attractive pension benefits. We offer flexible working conditions in an inspiring, international research environment.
