Our company is excited to announce the establishment of a brand-new manufacturing site located in Switzerland. To strengthen our Finance department in Brügg, we are seeking a motivated colleague for the position of:
Accountant (100%)
Your Responsibilities
- Review and book Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) entries.
- Review, book, and reconcile employee cash and corporate credit card expenses.
- Process and monitor prepayments.
- Post and reconcile AP and AR general ledger entries.
- Prepare weekly payment runs.
- Book and reconcile payments for all AP invoices in the internal ERP system.
- Conduct bookings and reconciliations for monthly, quarterly, and yearly AP sub- and general ledger closings.
- Support audits and walkthroughs.
- Serve as backup for Treasury.
- Manage vendors, including the creation, maintenance, and coordination with suppliers.
- Handle internal and external email correspondence.
- Prepare a variety of AP-related financial reports.
Your Profile
- Commercial Finance Diploma or Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education.
- Excellent communication skills in English - both spoken and written.
- Knowledge of German and/or French is an asset.
- Very good Excel skills are required.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, particularly during high workload periods.
- Exceptional communication skills with colleagues, superiors, stakeholders, and business partners (e.g., Purchasing team).
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in AP, ideally within an international environment.
