Your Role
We are searching for a dynamic and self-driven professional to join our CNE ECE Business Group as a Campus Sales Manager for 5G Campus Networks. This is a hunter role—not for the faint-hearted. We seek an individual with the energy, passion, and discipline to take ownership, create new opportunities, and challenge limits in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Learn and Contribute To
- Focus Area:
- Drive sales of Nokia's 5G Private Networks portfolio across Switzerland through an indirect sales model.
- Hunting for Growth:
- Identify, develop, and sell to existing and new enterprise customers, predominantly in Manufacturing & Logistics, Ports & Airports, Mining/Quarries, and Windfarms.
- Understand customer-specific business needs and challenges to propose tailored private wireless solutions through consultative selling.
- Collaborate with other Account Managers to devise and implement strategies to enhance private wireless sales within the assigned customer base or territory.
- Partner Collaboration:
- Establish and nurture relationships with go-to-market partners, including global system integrators, local resellers, distributors, and customer service providers, to accelerate the sales of campus private wireless solutions.
- Develop new partnerships to broaden the sales reach.
- End-to-End Sales:
- Develop and implement Nokia’s campus private wireless sales and go-to-market strategy to generate revenue and grow sales of our products and services.
- Support online and offline sales and marketing campaigns, contribute to events/exhibitions, and transform leads into sales opportunities and revenue.
- Relationship Management:
- Build a robust network and trustworthy relationships with customers and partners to gain insights and create long-term sales strategies.
- Proactively communicate Nokia’s campus private wireless solutions to executive management, customers, partners, and external stakeholders.
Your Skills and Experience
You have:
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communication, business management, engineering, telecommunications, business, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales or account management, with a focus on enterprise sales, business development, or consultative selling within vertical industries such as manufacturing, logistics & retail, automotive, aviation, maritime, railways, energy/utilities, oil & gas, and defense.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of private wireless solutions and 4G/5G technologies.
- Outstanding solution selling skills with a proven track record in developing profitable business opportunities.
- Ability to identify customer business needs, recommend tailored solutions, and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated with a hunter mindset and a drive to excel in demanding environments.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and stimulate business growth.
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., SCRM, Salesforce).
- Strong business acumen and exceptional negotiation abilities.
- Fluent communicator in German and English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently (50-75%).
