The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage and expand molecular activities for assigned customers within a defined country territory. This role involves acting as an advisor and consultant to customers, with a focus on retention and value expansion for both existing and potential accounts.
Your Tasks
- Acquisition of new business opportunities.
- Renewal of expiring contracts and management of new tenders issued by existing customers, including price negotiations to ensure competitive pricing.
- Establishment of value propositions and development of robust business cases.
- Post-sale support and engagement with customers.
- Development of broad relationships with key molecular lab stakeholders, including decision-making units, clinicians, and purchasing departments.
- Address customer inquiries and direct them to the respective Service department for technical and application-related questions.
- Act as a consultant to customers on lab productivity, utilization, and design.
- Manage customer data actively within the CRM system, ensuring accuracy in reporting activities and market data.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology or a related field.
- Experience in the IVD laboratory diagnostics business.
- Sales experience is preferred but not mandatory if you possess strong expertise in the molecular diagnostics field.
- Demonstrated experience in the molecular laboratory field is essential.
- Proven ability to maintain and develop customer relationships.
- Fluent in English and either German or French.
