Account Manager / Account Manageress

Your Main Missions

As a vital member of our team, you will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and newly onboarded customers, helping them understand how Coface Mid Market solutions can benefit their business.
  • Support clients with Mid Market contracts, fostering long-term, profitable relationships.
  • Develop business within an existing B2B customer portfolio, either directly or through a broker network.
  • Engage in all up-selling and cross-selling activities.
  • Initiate, plan, and execute the policy renewal process while negotiating with customers and/or brokers.
  • Ensure compliance with all requirements for new and existing business (KYC, KYI, and UBO processes) in collaboration with our back office and shared service center.
  • Control, report, and manage customer consumption effectively.
  • Conduct regular visits to customers and brokers to maintain relationships.
  • Actively collect market intelligence data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in external events to promote our services and expand our network.
  • Handle client reporting, annual account planning, client meeting preparation, and regular feedback reporting.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as required.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following qualifications:

Education

  • Higher education degree (business school or university).
  • Proficient in IT tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
  • AFA Insurance Intermediary, Non-life Profile certification is mandatory.

Experience

  • Proven experience in Account Management within the financial services sector.

Competencies

  • Fluency in German and English; additional language proficiency (French/Italian) is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, precise, supportive, and client-focused.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality services under tight deadlines and approach problems independently and systematically.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Creative, innovative, and passionate about driving sales with both farming and hunting techniques.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
