During the BMD 2-year fellowship program, you will receive comprehensive training and mentorship while being empowered to learn in a diverse, multicultural, and inclusive environment. Key learning areas include:
Identifying critical biomarker solutions in clinical development.
Defining disease stages and subtypes, predicting medication effects.
Selecting patients who would benefit most from specific therapies.
Identifying opportunities for the development of companion diagnostics.
Our scientists utilize a wide range of biomarkers to investigate diseases, profile compounds’ mechanisms of action, assess potency and likely side effects, select patients based on genetic profiles, and develop parallel indications for compounds.

About the Role
Develop and oversee study protocols, site operations manuals, and biomarker sample logistics, including study setup and data upload.
Coordinate logistical activities for cellular and other biomarkers, managing sample tracking at sites and central labs.
Monitor and oversee biomarker modalities and laboratory assays (e.g., flow cytometry, immunoassays).
Collaborate with clinical teams and service providers to troubleshoot biomarker monitoring issues.
Travel to provide onsite training to clinical sites and external service providers.
Contribute to clinical trial teams to develop biomarker implementation plans.
Lead and participate in process improvement projects and technology evaluations.

Role Requirements
University degree (BA, BSc, MA, MSc, PharmD, or PhD).
Strong interest in clinical research and biomarker development.
Business-level proficiency in English, both oral and written.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities.
Proficient in Office IT applications.
Industry experience is a plus.
