Join Our Nautical Team as 1st Captain
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises owns and operates a fleet of eleven intimate, boutique river cruise ships on the European waterways, exclusively catering to English-speaking clients. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to support our Nautical Team in the role of:
Responsibilities
- Navigating the ship in accordance with company guidelines and safety regulations
- Ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew on board
- Maintaining our ships during the cruise season as well as in winter
- Professional management of the Nautical Team
- Communicating effectively with the Hotel Manager and Cruise Manager
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role on the Rhine-Main-Danube
- Familiarity with Z-Drive systems (not mandatory)
- Licensing for the Rhine up to Mainz and/or the Danube
- Innovative, flexible, and proactive leader who is a team player
- Fluency in German and/or English for business communication
- Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Willingness to learn and grow in your role
