Join Our Nautical Team as a 1st Captain
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises owns and operates a fleet of eleven intimate, boutique river cruise ships on the European waterways, catering exclusively to English-speaking clients. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to support our Nautical Team in the role of 1st Captain.
Your Responsibilities
- Navigating the ship according to the company's guidelines and safety regulations.
- Ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew on board.
- Maintaining our ships during the season and in off-peak winter months.
- Professionally managing the Nautical Team.
- Communicating on board with the Hotel Manager and Cruise Manager.
Your Profile
- Experience in a similar role on the Rhine-Main-Danube.
- Experience with Z-Drive systems (not mandatory).
- At least a license for the Rhine until Mainz and/or the Danube.
- Innovative, flexible, and proactive leader who is a team player.
- Excellent communication skills in German and/or English.
- Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Willingness to learn and grow in your role.
