Join Our Nautical Team as a 1st Captain
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises operates a fleet of eleven intimate, boutique river cruise ships on the picturesque European waterways, catering exclusively to English-speaking clients. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to take on the role of 1st Captain.
Your Responsibilities
- Navigating the ship in accordance with company guidelines and safety regulations.
- Ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew on board.
- Maintaining our ships during the cruising season and off-season.
- Professionally managing the Nautical Team.
- Facilitating communication on board with the Hotel Manager and Cruise Manager.
Your Profile
- Experience in a similar role on the Rhine-Main-Danube.
- Experience with Z-Drive systems (not mandatory).
- Possession of a license for the Rhine until Mainz and/or the Danube.
- Innovative, flexible, and proactive leadership qualities, along with being a team player.
- Fluency in communicating and conducting business in German and/or English.
- Proficient in computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A willingness to learn and grow in your role.
